Appalachian Trail at Montebello |

South Carolina native covered 2,168 - (headline in
the Nelson County Times , May 15, 2003) Hiker
Ben Horne, from Greeneville, S.C. was greeted with a reception honoring
the completion of his trek on the Appalachian Trail. Ben completed
the trail in Montebello and the citizens applauded his accomplishment by
preparing a covered dish luncheon.
